SKATING INFORMATION

  • Arrive early to check in, borrow skates (if needed), and meet your coach
  • USFS strongly recommends helmets for beginner skaters of all ages.
  • Wear warm / flexible clothing, gloves or mittens, thin socks / tights, and proper fitting figure skates or hockey skates.
  • Have your hair tied back
  • No parents, friends, or siblings on the ice – all helpers / coaches must have background checks and SafeSport training
  • Parents: Please don’t stand near the rink door or boards. Skaters can be viewed from the indoor warming room, upper warming room, or from the bleachers.
  • You are responsible for your children once they leave the ice. Please do not allow your children to run around the rink unsupervised (bleachers, locker rooms, warming room, upper viewing room, etc..)
